Check out another list with games for Android and iOS that arrives in 2018. A year that promises a lot in terms of mobile games. We’re going to have weightlifting like PUBG and some unknowns like CODE Survive and Tauceti Unknow Origins.
Surely the most anticipated game of 2018 is, I say, the mobile versions of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It will be two games that will soon be beta testing in China. However, there is no confirmation of when they will be launched in the West. The demand for the game is such that it already causes confusion even in Chinese and Vietnamese forums, with a lot of misinformation.
Devil May Cry
The news came in late 2017 and caught many fans by surprise. A Devil May Cry game is under development in China. Devil May Cry: Pinnacle of Combat will be a game with elaborate graphics, using Unity 5 and will be released for free. It was not revealed whether it will reach the West, but it is only known that this is an official game, made in partnership with CAPCOM.
One Piece Bounty Rush
One Piece Bounty Rush is a game for Android and iOS that already has date to arrive in Japan in 2018. In the West, the game also is already practically confirmed, because Bandai Namco is not delaying so much so launches of anime games. Bounty Rush will be focused on action and fighting and will have 3D graphics.
DC Unchained has been in soft launch for a long time, and it sure is a game that will draw a lot of attention in 2018. The producer is 4:33 and she is focusing on bringing an action game with lots of pounding between heroes and villains of A.D. The design is very beautiful. Pretty much a DC Marvel Future Fight. It’s worth waiting for this game.
The Lords of the Rings Living
The card of the Lords of the Rings promises to surprise in 2018. The game that is in tests in the PC, will be released also for mobile phones. Unlike other titles of the genre, The Lords of the Rings Living cardgame will be a game where you acquired the expansion with all the cards, does not have random packets. A relief.
GRID Autosport was released for iOS in 2017. But gamers using the Android platform were left out. Now only wait, because the game was confirmed for 2018. The only problem? It will be exclusive to top of the line handsets. Most likely even older tops will be left out, as the game runs with difficulties even on the iPhone 6S.
Tauceti Unknow Origins
Tauceti Unknow Origins impressed us with his “embarassing” trailer, with a look worthy of consoles like Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The question is: will the mobile version be like this? According to the producer, the promise is a game with PvE and PvP events, something between a Destiny and a Crisis.
Dead Rivals (Ex-The Dying World) is a game that neither looks like Gameloft. Well, not from Gameloft 2017. The gameplay is more geared towards an open-world RPG, with a lot of content to explore. Really promising. Let’s hope Gameloft does not spoil the game with in-built purchases and power limiters.
Code Survive shows us that the Chinese are always thinking of experiences richer and closer to the consoles and PC. A good example of this was the NetEase Battle Royale games. And just this same company, will bring a new and impressive game in 2018: Code Survive.
This game was beta-tested in 2017, and will be released in 2018 in China alone. But if the guys make the same noise they made with Rules of Survival, NetEase might as well bring it to the West as well.
Monster Hunter Stories
Monster Hunter Stories is a spin-off franchise with versions for Nintendo 3DS, iPhone and Android. Launched in 2016 for Nintendo’s handheld, the game arrived in late 2017 on smartphones. However, only in Japan. The possibility of Monster Hunter Stories reaching the West is great. Because CAPCOM has changed its policy with smartphones, and promises great launches in 2018.
And that was one more list of games that are expected to arrive in 2018. Do not forget to check the previous lists as well. Did you miss a game? Leave a comment.
