The authors of this JRPG for Nintendo Switch ask for patience from the fans.
Although it was one of the first video games announced for Nintendo Switch, it was not until last October that we had the chance to see something real from Shin Megami Tensei 5, the coveted new episode of this renowned JRPG series. Even so, the authors confirm, there is still much work ahead as the project is in its early stages of development.
At this time, producer Kazuyuki Yamai confirms in an interview with 4Gamer, the Atlus team in charge of this role adventure is shuffling various ideas, testing new game mechanics and discarding those that do not quite convince them. The Japanese creative talks about the stage of testing and discarding, that is, in a few words, they have not yet decided which will be the playable keys of this expected production.
Since this is the first Shin Megami Tensei to reach a desktop console for a long time, its makers want to give the best of themselves without imposing a specific release date. That’s why Atlus asks fans for patience.
