If you intend to play LA Noire in its digital version on the Nintendo Switch, it is good to have purchased a microSD card for the hybrid console. According to Rockstar, the game will occupy no less than 29 GB, a figure that exceeds the free space that is offered by the console, even when only your system is installed.
Also, anyone who buys the cartridge version of the game will have to download 14 GB in files considered mandatory by the developer. In other words, forget the possibility of leaving playing the game of the store in which you acquire it – something that is also a bad news for those who do not have a very fast internet connection.
“Using the physical cartridge version of LA Noire, the game will require a 14GB digital download containing the necessary gameplay data as well as bug fixes and enhancements,” says Rockstar. “This file may be low on the internal storage of the Nintendo Switch or on a microSD card (sold separately).”
In protest of Rockstar’s decision, some fans are arguing that the company could solve the situation by offering a cartridge with 32 GB of storage. Scheduled for November 14, the new version of LA Noire will also have versions for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
